Day 1: Arrive to Cairo

Day 2: Grand Egyptian Museum & Pyramids
Begin your day immersed in the stories of powerful queens, legendary pharaohs, and ancient dynasties during a morning visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, Egypt’s newest and most visionary cultural landmark, where millennia of history unfold through breathtaking treasures. In the afternoon, step into a lifelong dream as you stand before the majestic Pyramids of Giza and come face to face with the enigmatic Great Sphinx, timeless icons that have inspired women travelers for generations. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon to relax and reflect.
Day 3: Museum of Egyptian Civilizations, Citadel & Khan el-Khalili
Start the morning at the Museum of Egyptian Civilizations, exploring galleries from pharaonic to contemporary times. Day 4: Fly to Luxor & Karnak and Luxor Temples

Begin your exploration at the vast Karnak Temple Complex, walking along the Avenue of Ram-Headed Sphinxes to the towering First Pylon and into the legendary Hypostyle Hall, where 134 massive columns rise above you, covered in intricate hieroglyphs. Continue to Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated by the afternoon sun, once a center of divine rejuvenation. Admire the colossal statues of Ramses II, the unique Abu Haggag Mosque built into the ruins, and the continuation of the ancient Sphinx Avenue. Return to the boat for afternoon tea and relaxation on the sun deck, followed by dinner on board and an overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 5: Luxor West Bank, Sail to Esna
This morning you may choose to join a hot air balloon ride over the West Bank. Later, step into the hidden world of the Pharaohs at the Valley of the Kings, exploring three royal tombs carved deep into the Theban cliffs and richly painted with scenes of the afterlife. Optional visits to the tombs of Tutankhamun or Seti I are available for those seeking an even deeper experience.
Continue to the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a breathtaking multi-terraced masterpiece built into the limestone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, honoring Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh.
Return to the boat for lunch, then begin sailing south toward Esna, gliding past lush riverbanks and traditional villages. Experience the fascinating passage through the Esna Lock, before enjoying dinner and an overnight sail toward Edfu under the stars.
Day 6: Temples of Horus & Sobek, Sail to Kom Ombo
Arrive in Edfu and visit the magnificent Temple of Horus, the most completely preserved temple in Egypt. Built during the Ptolemaic period, this grand complex celebrates Horus, the falcon-headed god of kingship and protection. Walk through its towering pylon, expansive courtyards, and richly carved hieroglyphics.
Return to the boat for lunch as you sail south along the Nile to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, explore the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, a rare dual-deity temple dedicated equally to Sobek, the crocodile god and protector of the Nile, and Horus the Elder, god of the sky and kingship. Then visit the Crocodile Mummification Museum for a glimpse into ancient healing and ritual practices.
Return to the boat for dinner and overnight sailing toward Aswan, drifting peacefully along the Nile.
Day 7: Aswan: Nubian Charm & Modern Marvels
Begin the morning exploring Aswan’s highlights by boat to the enchanting Temple of Philae, beautifully set on Agilkia Island and dedicated to Isis, goddess of love and magic. Carefully relocated during a UNESCO rescue project, its elegant columns and serene waterside setting make it one of Egypt’s most magical temples. Return to the cruise for lunch, followed by a relaxed afternoon at leisure or an optional felucca sail on the Nile.
Day 8: Fly to Cairo & Farewell
After a private transfer from the ship to Aswan Airport, fly from Aswan to Cairo and enjoy a last glimpse of the city before preparing for your journey home. Enjoy a farewell meal sharing your favorite Egyptian memories.
